Chalky mineral soils
This appellation produces exclusively red wine. This vineyard is renowned for giving the most delicate wines in the Côtes de Nuits area because of the chalky mineral nature of the soil. Chambolle is the epitome of elegance and finesse.
These wines develop silky, supple tannins that give a delicate touch to a richly structured wine, leaving a beautifully persistent finish. Serve at 15-16°C.
Is ideal with roast goose with chestnuts, slow-cooked shoulder of lamb or sautéed venison with mushrooms
