The Savigny reds have an averagely intense colour. Their bouquet is elegant, fairly powerful, with aromas of Morello cherry, blackcurrant and raspberry mainly, developing on to strawberry and undergrowth after a few years. Supple, slightly tannic and not to acidic, they are well rounded and always beautifully elegant.
The Savigny wines age smoothly and are at their best from 3 to 10 years.
The Savigny reds are excellent with all kinds of sophisticated cuisine, with red or white meat and even game of the feathered variety.
